In this guide, I will show you exactly how to set up an online store for just $5/month. Yes, you can really set up a store for that little in cost! But because this method is cheaper than you would expect, there are some minor limitations, such as a single landing page etc.
How does this work?
- We will use LinkPop to build yourself a free landing page
- We will use Shopify's $5/month Starter plan to add shoppable products

Written guide
- Go to your Shopify admin
- Go to Apps in the left navigation

Follow the steps to create your own landing page. This is essentially a page builder where you can add all of your own things, including products, text, images, and much more.
5. Set up your payment gateway in Shopify
This is the next step to taking payments.
I recommend using Shopify Payments & PayPal as your gateways, but you have many other options available. This will gives your customers two options to choose from, and sometimes, they feel more comfortable using PayPal.
Shopify Payments have the best transaction costs compared to other gateways.
- Go to Shopify
- Click “Settings” > “Payments“
- Here, you can set up Shopify Payments, PayPal or any other gateway you choose.
