This method works by creating a free Shopify product and allowing users to go through the checkout process and get a free digital download after checkout.
Step 3 - Upload & attach the file to your Shopify product
The way it works is that Fileflare acts as an add-on to Shopify's system. It will allow you to upload and attach files to your Shopify products, meaning that when a product is ordered, the attached files will be delivered to the customer.
Next, in the Shopify admin, click "Apps" in the left navigation and click on Fileflare
Go to the "Products" page and click on a product
Click the "Upload new assets" button
Upload your files and click "Done"
Now use the search box on the page to find and select your assets, then click "Attach"
Altogether, you can deliver the downloads using three methods:
Via email - available on the free plan and paid plans
The great thing about using this method is that you can use a post-purchase app to upsell paid products with an offer on the checkout page. It's a great way to upsell current products.
